SWIS GmbH ( Sustainable Water Infrastructure Solutions) is a start-up company from Kaiserslautern that offers software solutions for urban water management. The first software product is a tool for the automated planning of sewer networks called ZIGGURAT.
The team behind ZIGGURAT, an innovative algorithm that takes the planning of sewer networks for wastewater, stormwater or combined sewer to a completely new level, are former employees of the Department of Urban Water Management at the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University Kaiserslautern-Landau.
