Garden and city furniture made of demolition rubble

Within the framework of the European funding project "INTERREG Northwest Europe", a total of 408,000 € of ERDF funds are flowing into the Vorder- and Westpfalz to investigate the extent to which sand can be substituted by demolition rubble in concrete production. The new recycled aggregates from demolition rubble can be used in particular for garden and city furniture and monuments. Among other things, 3D printing is used here. One of the Palatinate companies involved is our Ecoliance member, the TU Kaiserslautern!

Within the CIRMAP project (Circular economy via customisable furniture with recycled materials), the Rhineland-Palatinate is working with a total of 13 international partners under French leadership. CIRMAP is one of 7 projects that were approved with a total volume of 21 million € of ERDF funds.
